Simple Robot Controller Setup
Compatible Hardware
SimpleRobotController is a C# program that controls your robot! The controller software is responsible for controlling the motors, motion planning, kinematics, executing programs & commands, communicating with the SimpleRobotApp and so much more.
This code should be able to run on a wide range of Windows and Linux computers. Though I’d recommend a minimum of 4 cores and a minimum of 4gb of memory.
Download & Run Software
The Windows controller software is a standalone program that is ran without installation, download the exe from the button below, put it in its own folder and run it.
The Linux controller software has an automated installation, run this CLI command:
curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/RobotsMadeSimple/SimpleRobotController/main/install.sh | sudo bash
Running On Windows
Windows may show a SmartScreen warning the first time you run the exe. This is because the application isn’t code signed (certificates are expensive). Click More info → Run anyway to proceed. This only appears once per build.

Afterwards you will be asked if you want to allow network access to the app, be sure to select Allow. The controller software relies on local network connections to communicate with the SimpleRobotApp.
